One World Observatory fills floors 100 to 102 of One World Trade Center, 1,250 feet up and fully indoor. A standard ticket starts at $39 (October 2026); the choice is between a plain ticket, one with priority lanes, or a 9/11 Memorial tour that ends at the deck. To weigh it against the other towers, see the NYC observation deck comparison.
How to choose
The Observatory sells four ticket types, each priced "from" and changing by date and time slot (October 2026): Standard from $39; Combination from $49, with priority lanes at security, the elevator and the exit, the One World Explorer iPad guide and $5 to spend; All-Inclusive from $59, which adds arrival at any time on the chosen day and $15 to spend; and the VIP Tour from $69, with escorted entry and a 60-minute guided tour. A $3.50 processing fee plus tax is added per ticket. A Late Night Package takes 50% off after 8 pm.
The New York City One World Observatory Admission Ticket is from $30 on Viator in October 2026, depending on the time slot, and rates 4.32 from 2,721 reviews; its options are Standard, Combination and a Late Night Package. The Skip-the-Line Combo Ticket (from $59, 4.2 from 128 reviews) is the timed priority ticket, and the Skip-the-Line All Inclusive Ticket (from $70, 4.09 from 169 reviews) allows arrival at any time on the chosen day. For a guide at the top, the Fully Guided VIP Tour (from $81, 4.92 from 24 reviews) runs 60 to 90 minutes through all three levels with a certified guide, in groups of up to 15.
Many products on this page are walking tours of Ground Zero that end at the tower. In several, the deck is an option: New York 9/11 Memorial Tour with Optional One World Observatory (from $29 on Viator in October 2026, 4.84 from 656 reviews) and 9/11 Memorial Tour with Optional Museum and One World Access (from $32, 4.97 from 1,085 reviews) both sell a tour-only option, so the "from" price is the walk without the deck; the deck ticket is an upgrade picked at booking, used without the guide after the tour. All-Access 9/11: Ground Zero Tour, Memorial and Museum, One World Observatory (from $109, 4.87 from 5,168 reviews) includes both tickets: a guided walk, a skip-the-line 9/11 Museum entry and a timed deck entry later the same day. More on the memorial itself: 9/11 Memorial and Museum tickets.
On Viator in October 2026, private Ground Zero tours run from $190 with the deck optional (Private 9/11 Memorial and Ground Zero Walking Tour, 4.91 from 67 reviews) to $300 with both the museum and the deck included (Private All Access 9/11 Ground Zero: Tour, Museum & Observatory, 4.94 from 79 reviews). The NYC Luxury Bus Tour with 9/11 Museum and One World Access (from $119, 4.79 from 86 reviews) drives Midtown to Downtown and ends at the 9/11 Museum or the Observatory, whichever ticket is booked; the deck is one of three options.
The visit
The SkyPod elevator climbs to the top in 47 seconds while showing a time-lapse of the city from the 1500s to today, then the See Forever Theater opens onto the view. The three floors are fully indoor, behind glass, with views of up to 45 miles on a clear day (October 2026). The operators give the same height, 1,250 feet, for One World and for the 102nd floor of the Empire State Building; for open air, the Empire State Building's 86th floor, Top of the Rock, Edge and SUMMIT One Vanderbilt have outdoor space.
Hours are 9 am to 9 pm daily in October 2026, and they change with the season. The entrance is on the West Plaza at 117 West Street, by the E train's World Trade Center stop.
For sunset, the Observatory advises a ticket for at least one hour before sunset (October 2026).

City passes
Go City's Essentials, Explorer and All-Inclusive passes include One World Observatory, and the New York Pass lists it (October 2026). New York CityPASS, C3 and C-ALL do not include it. Visitors set on a pass that covers One World and other decks can compare them on CityPASS vs Go City.

A standard ticket costs from $39 in October 2026, plus a $3.50 processing fee and tax; the price changes with the date and time slot. Combination tickets start at $49, All-Inclusive at $59 and the VIP Tour at $69. The Viator admission ticket is from $30 on Viator in October 2026, depending on the time slot.
About an hour at the top: the 9/11 tours that end there plan an hour for the deck, and the Viator admission ticket lists 2 hours in all (October 2026). The Fully Guided VIP Tour runs 60 to 90 minutes.
Book a slot at least one hour before sunset, as the Observatory advises (October 2026). After 8 pm, the Late Night Package takes 50% off the standard ticket.
Floors 100, 101 and 102 of One World Trade Center, 1,250 feet up. All three are indoor (October 2026).
For the highest view in the city, indoors in any weather, yes: it shares the top height of 1,250 feet with the Empire State Building's 102nd floor, and sits next to the 9/11 Memorial, so a Ground Zero tour can end there. Visitors who want open air can compare the other decks.
Tickets are timed, so booking ahead fixes the slot; they can be rescheduled online (October 2026). The All-Inclusive ticket allows arrival at any time on the chosen day.
No. New York CityPASS, C3 and C-ALL do not include it in October 2026, while Go City's Essentials, Explorer and All-Inclusive passes do. See CityPASS vs Go City.
