A MoMA ticket costs $30 for adults in October 2026, the same as the Met, and covers every gallery and special exhibition. Free Friday nights now apply only to New York State residents. Viator has few MoMA products, so this page says plainly what there is and when a city pass or a Met tour fits better.
How to choose
MoMA charges $30 for adults, $22 for seniors 65 and over, $17 for full-time students (international students included) and $22 for visitors with a disability. Children 16 and under get in free (October 2026). The ticket covers all galleries and special exhibitions, same-day film screenings (film seats must be reserved) and a free audio guide on the visitor's own device.

Friday nights
MoMA is open 10:30 am to 5:30 pm every day and until 8:30 pm on Fridays (October 2026). It closes only on Thanksgiving and Christmas.
Entry on Friday evenings, 5:30 to 8:30 pm, is free only for New York State residents. They must reserve ahead, places are limited, and proof of residency is required (October 2026).
